ABOUT ALLIE

After studying theatre at the American and Musical Academy in New York City and graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in vocal performance, Allie Signorelli spent more than 20 years putting her creative energy to work as a nonprofit fundraiser and event producer. Collaborating with everyone from CEOs to First Ladies to A-list celebrities, she dedicated her time and talent to raise millions in critical revenue for vital causes, including several brain health organizations. In 2022, her personal and professional worlds collided when she was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s disease after having symptoms for four years which began when she was just 43 years old.

Allie immediately channeled her expertise and experience into raising awareness and funds for Parkinson’s research becoming a high-profile patient advocate. She openly and honestly shares her journey with Parkinson’s and has been interviewed by Katie Couric, Lesley Stahl, Christina Applegate and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, among others and is now a trusted voice in the Parkinson’s community.

Since her diagnosis, Allie has grown a substantial online presence through her Instagram account @imstillallie where she has built a community of more than 66,000 followers and her content has reached more than 50 million people in the first 18 months.

Allie was a strong proponent of the National Plan to End Parkinson’s and successfully advocated for its unanimous passing by Congress in 2024. She received the 2025 Hero of Advocacy Award in honor of her work.

She is the emcee of the nationwide Parkinson’s IQ+You Series. Hosted by The Michael J. Fox Foundation, this free and popular event provides vital information for attendees on how to establish a care team, and take action to live well with Parkinson’s, as well as to learn more about research. She is also a member of the MJFF’s Patient Council.

She lives in Arlington with her husband Mike who she met when they were just 3 years old and they remarkably still really like each other. They have two kids in college, Ava and Bobby, and because of that, they focus all their obnoxious love on their amazingly stubborn rescue mutt Bean.
